FAQ

This tool queries both Visual Crossing and OpenWeatherMap. Temperature, feels-like, humidity, wind speed, and pressure are all shown as the average of both sources, reducing the impact of any single source's error.

Weather providers use different forecast models, observation stations, and update schedules, so results can vary slightly. Numeric values like temperature are averaged across sources; weather conditions (e.g. sunny, rainy) can't be averaged, so when the two sources disagree, the tool shows whichever is more severe (e.g. if one says cloudy and the other says rain, it shows rain) to avoid underestimating risk.

No. Your coordinates are only used to query the weather APIs and are never stored by ToTools or used for anything else.

With location access, the tool automatically shows the weather where you are. If you'd rather not grant it, simply search for a city by name — the features are exactly the same.

The data sources refresh roughly every 10 minutes. Refresh the page or search again to get the latest data.
